Anything we should know?
Gentlemen: I got divorced in 1999 my attorney at the time was to submit a QDRO at the time of my divorce, apparently he did not. He is deceased now, I was contacted by the State of Florida Retirement Office notify me there is no QDRO on file. My ex-husband is retiring in August 2024. I was informed that I have until July 31 to get a drafted copy of the QDRO into the office. I was also informed by the State of Florida Retirement that because of the timing of his retirement and him being in the drop. The QDRO can be drafted and sent via email to them without the judges signature while the process is still being completed. So that they can start processing the paperwork needed. I only need the retirement section completed on the QDRO and as per the State of Florida it has to be quoted exactly word for word per the final judgement. I need a quote as to how much it will cost. Could someone please call me from your office to discuss 980-254-2517.
