Anything we should know?Hello, my divorce was final in 2018 but my ex-husband and I did not worry about the transfer of the 401k funds until now. The funds were previously with Fidelity Investment as an employer 401(k) (through Gibraltar Private Bank) and after the bank was sold to IberiaBank, it was transferred to the IberiaBank 401(k) and when IberiaBank was sold, apparently they (I had no knowledge) transferred my funds to a traditional IRA at Empower. Empower will not accept the MSA because if refers to the initial 401(k) account with Gibraltar Private Bank. Megan Wells asked me to contact you.
